Study of the Small Catechism to Begin
"The Small Catechism? What's that?" Or, "That sounds vaguely familiar. Did I learn about that in Confirmation?" If either of these thoughts popped into your head when you read "The Small Catechism" it is time to revisit it, and learn all about it. Who wrote it and when? Why was it written? What topics does it cover? And most importantly - why is this important to me today?
We will be meeting via Zoom, starting on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Please contact Cheryl Statham at 610-588-6713 to give her your e-mail address so she will be able to send you the weekly invitations. The study will last for six weeks.
Note: If you have been participating in the weekly Bible Studies during 2020 you do not need to resend your e-mail address to Cheryl.

Fall Adult Learning Program Scheduled
A new session of adult education classes have been scheduled for this fall that is open to anyone who would like to participate. On Wednesdays, September 16 and 23, there will be a two-session class on how the Bible came to be organized in the format we have today. Then, starting on Wednesday, October 7 and continuing for six weeks, the class will be studying the Apocrypha, the collection of books that were not included in the Bible because it was felt they did not have the same authority or importance as those that did. That doesn't mean, however, that they are not interesting or do not have something to say to us today. All of these sessions will be held on zoom, and will start at 7:00 p.m. Please contact Cheryl Statham at 610-588-6713 so that she can get you signed up. It promises to be an interesting fall, please join us.
