PANCAKE AND SAUSAGE SUPPER TO BE HELD... Trinity’s Annual Pancake and Sausage Supper will be held on Shrove Tuesday, February 17 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall. There will be Pancakes, Sausage, Applesauce, Dessert, Coffee, Tea and Juice. The cost is $5.00 for Adults and $2.00 for children 6-10 and children under 6, free. Please plan to attend and enjoy the delicious pancakes and excellent sausage and join in the fun and fellowship with your church family.
TRINITY WILL AGAIN HOST THE LENTEN LUNCHEONS Trinity will host the Lenten Luncheons this year. They will begin on Tuesday, February 24 at 12 Noon in the Fellowship Hall. As of yet we don’t have the schedule as to who will be serving and when. More information will be in the bu1letins in the next few weeks.
SOCIAL MINISTRY UPDATE... We received large donations of food and $1000.00 worth of Weis Gift Cards from Majestic Athletic in December. We received donations of food and money from St. Peter’s Lutheran Church for Christmas and we also received $500.00 worth of Weis Gift Cards from First United Methodist Church on Third St. for Christmas. We also received 500.00 from the Merchant’s Bank. We thank all of the churches and many organizations for helping us all year long or we would not be able to continue to do this very important community outreach.
THE 10 ANNUAL OUTDOOR SPORSTMEN’S DINNER WILL BE HELD IN MARCH The 10 Annual Sportsmen’s dinner will be held here at Trinity in the Fellowship on Saturday, March 7 from 5:00 P.M.-8:30 P.M. There will be a traditional menu plus specially prepared wild game dishes. The guest speaker will be Keith Kreider — WCO of the PA Game Commission. There will be door prizes and raffles. JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP “For God so loved the world....John 3:16 As we enter the month of February, our hearts are filled with the blessings that the congregation and community have given our youth- and we look forward to sharing that love with others! Important Dates to Remember: February 4- Youth Group 6-7:30 Food and Craft Tuesday, Feb. 17- We are helping to set up for pancake and sausage supper.The youth will help set tables,. serve and then eat! Please be at the church at 4:15. No meeting Feb. 18 Snow tubing on Feb. 28- The congregation is invited to attend. We will tube early afternoon. Cost to be determined. .
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION Our Committee Met on January 15,2015 and We Talked about Several Events Coming up in the near Future. Each Year We Take 10% of Our Offering and Donate itt o an Outreach Program or Person in Our Community. We Talked about 2 Options. We Will Decide in Our next Meeting Where We Want Our $100.00 to Be Distributed.We Are Looking at Either Slater Family or the Fire Victims on Market Street. Our Lenten Challenge this Year Will Be to Fill Our Food Pantry with Soup and Crackers. Please Help Us as We Will Collect Soup and Crackers Throughout Lent from February 22 Through March 29th. Our Sunday School Will Be Participating with the Choir this Year. The Easter Cantata Is Titled “Easter Tree” We Will Be Practicing Each Sunday and The Children Will Be Given a CD to Practice at Home.
